HEARING A BAMBOO FLUTE MELODY ON A SPRING NIGHT IN THE CITY OF LOU YANG (BY LI BAI/TANG DYNASTY)

(Translated by Capella Cao)

From whose house does the bamboo flute's dulcet song rise?

The melody flutters on the spring breeze, filling the city of Luo Yang.

Hearing the tune of "the broken willow" on the night of sojourning,

Who will resist the yearning for home?
